After moving on from the Codetalkers and taking time away from live performances to address health matters, Col. Bruce Hampton once again has become a steady presence in the southern live music scene. His current group, Col. Bruce & The Quark Alliance also features principal songwriter Jeff Caldwell on vocals and guitar, bassist Kris Dale, and drummer Mark Letalien. The quartet will be gigging most every weekend over the next two months, including a show this Saturday in Canton, GA at Downtown Kitchen. In late September the Alliance also looks to move beyond Southern climes with a Colorado run currently slated for September 24-26.
