Over the weekend, a new supergroup made its stateside debut with an under-the-radar performance at New Yorks Bowery Ballroom. Featuring Ben Curtis (Secret Machines), Michael Rother (Neu!, Kraftwerk) and Josh Klinghoffer (Beck, PJ Harvey), the as-of-now unnamed trio was put together by the Mars Volta for an appearance at Englands All Tomorrows Partys in December. While the Secret Machines next studio album, Ten Silver Drops, will not be released until April 25, the group has made its new single, Alone, Jealous and Stoned, available through its webpage. The Secret Machines will perform twice at Floridas Langerado this weekend: a Saturday late-night set at Studio A and a Sunday set at Langerado’s festival grounds.
