The steady pace of New Years Eve show announcements continues. The latest confirmation is a four night stand by the Steve Kimock Band in San Francisco. The current line-up featuring Kimock, Rodney Holmes, Robert Walter, Reed Mathis is scheduled to appear at the Great American Music Hall on December 28, 29, 30 and 31. That same quartet will be at the Catalyst in Santa Cruz this evening as part of a series of west coast performances that extend throughout the month. In addition, Kimock will reunite with KVHW drummer Alan Hertz next Saturday at Earthdance in Laytonville, CA, A in a quintet that will also feature Hertz fellow Garaj Mahal member Eric Levy on bass, Liam Hanrahan on keys and Sister Soul on vocals.
