Widespread Panic have confirmed a pair of September shows. The veteran jamband will return to the Live Oak Bank Pavilion in Wilmington, Friday and Saturday, September 18 and 19. The group has been performing in Wilmington since the early 1990s and last appeared at Live Oak Bank Pavilion in 2023. As they celebrate their 40th anniversary, Panic has scheduled more shows than usual this year, including an extended West Coast run this summer. Tickets go on sale Friday, May 29.
The group’s next scheduled stops are shows at Columbia, MD’s All Good Now Festival on June 13 and 14. Guitarist Nick Johnson, a Col. Bruce Hampton collaborator, has been subbing for Jimmy Herring throughout the year.
