Galactic will be joined by guest vocalist Teedy Boutte on its upcoming fall tour, which kicks off October 9 at the Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver. (Regular Galactic vocalist Theryl ‘Houseman’ deClouet will continue to perform with the band as well.) Boutte hails from New Orleans and has collaborated with a long list of varied artists including Aretha Franklin, Public Enemy, Ziggy Marley, The Headhunters, Marilyn Manson and Nine Inch Nails. She also appears on Galactics new album, Ruckus, due out October 7 on Sanctuary and available now for pre-order.
