The Recipe has updated its fall schedule. The group will perform shows up and down the East Coast in September and October, with stops in Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, New York and Ohio.
This past Friday at Higher Ground in Winooski, VT, the band welcomed Gordon Stone (banjo, pedal steel) and Russ Lawton (drums) to the stage. Stone and Lawton sat in for the majority of the show.
The Recipe will spend November and December working on its next studio album, due in February. Titled Jubilee, the disc will feature a guest appearance by Vassar Clements.
