Two Col. Bruce Hampton albums have been re-released by Terminus Records. Both Isles of Langerhan (1982) and Outside Looking Out (1980) will be available on CD for the first time. The latter features a line-up that includes Paul McCandless on oboe, El Buho on brass and Ben Pops Thornton on just about everything, from vocals to guitar to bass to saxophone. Thornton and Hampton collaborated on the song writing on both releases. Hampton went on to perform with Aquarium Rescue Unit, The Fiji Mariners and The Codetalkers.
The street date for both CDs is September 17, although they are available now at www.terminusrecords.com.
