Colonel Claypools Bucket of Bernie Brains has confirmed two upcoming San Francisco shows, which will take place September 13 at Slims and September 14 at Great American Music Hall. As the moniker alludes to, the band features Les Claypool (bass), Buckethead (guitar), Bernie Worrell (keyboards) and Brain (drums). The group first performed at the Bonnaroo Music Festival in Manchester, TN this past June.
The Les Claypool Frog Brigade also has a new album on the way, titled Purple Onion. That roster features Jay Lane, Skerik, Eenor, and Mike Dillon as well as special guests Gabby Lang, Norwood Fisher (Fishbone), Lonnie Marshall (Weapon of Choice), Warren Haynes (Allman Brothers, Gov’t Mule, Phil Lesh) and Fish Fisher (Fishbone). The records due in stores on September 24.
