What will you remember most about 2011?
The earthquake in Connecticut, followed by “Hurricane Irene” and then winning “Apple Pie Magazine’s” most honorable mention in the Thanksgiving issue for my pumpkin-pecan-humble pie.

I am too A.D.D. to listen to entire albums so I mix it up by artist – Animal Collective, The Spinners (thanks Livolsi), Pretty Lights, LCD Soundsystem, DOPAPOD, Headhunters, HEAVY PETS, Bela Fleck, HIROMI, Kung Fu…

What was your favorite show or tour in 2011?

Probably Kung Fu in Denver, CO at Cervantes this past October – or KF’s shows in Minneapolis and Chicago – all landmark shows for us. As far as another band I would say Dopapod from the Mill Street Halloween show – they killed, and definitely the Heavy Pets from the shows we played with them. My two new favorite band

What emerging band should readers watch out for in 2012?

Obviously Kung Fu and my new project BangBang!!

Who would you want to collaborate with next year?

Snoop Dogg, Wayne Newton, and Willie Nelson.

What gifts do you hope to receive this holiday season?

Little People, Big World (the entire series on DVD).

What are some of your favorite holiday traditions?

Decorating the tree with my children – Christmas is for the kiddies…

Do you have any New Year’s resolutions?

Probably to spend more time playing golf. I really want to get better. And like anything else, you have to dedicate time to the activities in which you wish to excel… I also want to run a marathon at some point…
