Whatever Happened to Mikey?

Over the weekend, I received an email with curious subject line, “Whatever happened to Mikey?” My first thought was that the author had a question about my current Relix co-editor Mike Greenhaus. Nope. My second guess was a reference to the late Widespread Panic guitarist Mikey Houser. Again, no (RIP, Mikey).

Instead, a longtime Jambands.com reader had a question about my late, not-so-lamented comic strip, which launched at the same time that this site did back in 1998. Since this was the first email about crappy comic since, well, 1998 (and possibly, ever), today I offer you the “best” of Mikey. Remember, these are from 1998.
