Arcade Fire announced that they’ll be putting on a surprise benefit show for Ukraine at the Toulouse Theatre in New Orleans tonight. Wristbands for the event are available for pay-what-you-can pick up at the doors of the venue starting at 11 a.m. EST.

Doors for the show will open at 7:30 p.m. and the evening will kick off with music from honored guest, pianist Rickie Monie, known for his musical legacy and work with the Preservation Hall Band. All of the proceeds for the event will go to the Ukraine Relief Fund.

Arcade Fire’s noble efforts to raise funds to help Ukraine since Russia invaded the sovereign nation in late February follow Gogol Bordello’s Ukraine Benefit Concert at New York’s City Winery and Love Rocks NYC which donated half of the proceeds they raised last Thursday. Additionally, artists like Björk, Nick Cave and more have canceled concerts in both countries and many American businesses, including Universal Music Group have suspended their operations in Russia.
