Arcade Fire announced that they’ll be putting on a benefit show for Ukraine at New York’s Bowery Ballroom, tonight. Wristbands for the event are available at the venue now and are “pay-what-you-can.” All of the proceeds for the event will go to the Ukraine Relief Fund.

On March 14, the group put on a similar fundraiser at the Toulouse Theatre in New Orleans which saw guest performances and a sold-out crowd. Additionally, earlier this week the band announced their first album since 2017, WE, and shared the lead single off the project. Arcade Fire’s performance will mark the band’s first show at the Bowery Ballroom since 2004. Doors for the show will open at 8:00 p.m. EST.

Arcade Fire’s noble efforts to raise funds to help Ukraine since Russia invaded the sovereign nation in late February follow Gogol Bordello’s Ukraine Benefit Concert at New York’s City Winery and Love Rocks NYC which donated half of the proceeds they raised last Thursday. Additionally, artists like Björk, Nick Cave and more have canceled concerts in both countries and many American businesses, including Universal Music Group have suspended their operations in Russia.
