A cross-genre mix of artists will come together for the Ocean Way festival. Slated to take place in Santa Monica, CA on Saturday, September 26 and Sunday, September 27, the inaugural beachside event is being produced by Goldenvoice, the company behind Coachella and Stagecoach. The Killers, Jack White and Sublime will top the lineup on Saturday while Olivia Dean, Khruangbin and Durand Jones & The Indications will anchor Sunday’s festivities. Other acts confirmed to appear during the two-day event include: 54 Ultra Alvvays, Austin Millz, BLOND:ISH, Carlita, Coco & Breezy, DJ Harvey, EREZ, Good Neighbours, Heidi Lawden, Hiatus Kaiyote, Hot Chip DJs, Nala, Poolside, SG Lewis and Vandelux.

Ocean Way’s stated mission is to celebrate California’s music and culture and the festival will also showcase a mix of local businesses and restaurants. According to the event’s announcement, “It’s all part of the city’s unprecedented investment in bringing major events and activations, welcoming the world to our shores in tandem with international happenings in the region over the next few years. Building on investments in public safety, business support and civic cleanliness via the city’s $60+ million Realignment Plan, the city is charting a clear path to economic growth and vitality that will benefit residents, businesses and visitors.”

Local residents will be able to purchase tickets today, a day before they go on sale to the general public.
