Gov’t Mule have formally unveiled their summer tour plans. As the storied electric blues and Southern rock quartet helmed by Warren Haynes keep trucking across the country with their spring run, they’ve packed their touring calendar tighter with ten new confirmed performances and two save-the-dates in July and August.
Gov’t Mule’s new Kicking In Your Stall summer run will begin just over a month after the grand finale of their Spring Tour, which will conclude with a special orchestral performance at New Orleans’ Orpheum Theatre on May 1. On June 22, the quartet of Haynes, keyboardist Danny Louis, bassist Kevin Scott and co-founding drummer Matt Abts will hit the road again from South Deerfield, Mass.’s Summer Stage at Tree House Brewing Company. They’ll move on to shows in Hammondsport, N.Y., Patchogue, N.Y. and Selbyville, Del. before joining forces with fellow blues torchbearer Joe Bonamassa for nine previously announced co-headline shows from July 29 to Aug. 16.
Between three frames of three-night runs with Bonamassa, Gov’t Mule will sneak in shows in Lewiston, N.Y. and Atlantic City, N.J. on Aug. 6 and 7 (the former featuring JJ Grey & MoFro) and Aurora, Ill. on Aug. 11. On the end of their summer tour itinerary, they’ll make four stops in the Mountain states, performing in livingston, Mont., Rexton Mont., and Santa Fe, N.M. before wrapping up another summer series with a finale at Vail, Colo.’s Greald R. Ford Amphitheater on Aug. 23.
Tickets for Gov’t Mule’s Kicking In Your Stall summer tour will open to a pre-sale on April 8 at 12 p.m. ET, with the general on-sale set to follow next Friday, April 10 at 12 p.m. ET. Find more information at mule.net.
