Mumford & Sons have announced a new album. Prizefighter, the British folk-rock band’s sixth studio release, will arrive via Island Records on February 13, 2026. The project’s formal introduction arrived only seven months after Rushmere, which was Mumford & Sons’ first new release in seven years. Last week, the trio heralded their next chapter with the new single “Rubber Band Man,” featuring their longtime collaborator Hozier.

With today’s album announcement, Mumford & Sons shared the full tracklist for Prizefighter, which includes features from Chris Stapleton on the intro cut “Here,” Gracie Abrams on “Badlands” and Gigi Perez on “Icarus.” The band created their upcoming release with Aaron Dessner, who signed on as cowriter and coproducer and hosted the band at his Long Pond Studio in upstate New York; the storied producer and instrumentalist of The National and Big Red Machine previously contributed to the band’s 2015 album Wlider Mind.

“We feel like we’re hitting our prime as a creative force,” frontman Marcus Mumford shared in a statement. “We’re putting everything we have into this now, and we’re using everything about our experience so far to embrace exactly who we are. We’re comfortable in our skins these days. And ‘Prizefighter’ is us going for it – serious and playful, sometimes bruised and always hopeful. We’re nowhere near done yet. I hope and believe and we’re in the beginning of something we don’t want to let up on. I’m more excited to be in this band than I’ve ever been.”

After a long year on the road celebrating their long-awaited return, including the star-studded revue of their Railroad Revival Tour, Mumford & Sons will commence one last 22-stop European leg next week, featuring support from The Barr Brothers. They’ll finish off their year of performance with a headline set at the fifth-annual Wild Horses Festival, staging at San Diego, Calif.’s Petco Park on Dec. 27.
