The ninth annual Allman Betts Family Revival returns to the road this winter for another holiday hugging round of live appearances featuring an extensive lineup of coveted talent performing songs in the spirit of band leaders Devon Allman and Duane Betts’ fathers Gregg Allman and Dickey Betts. The 20-date trek begins on Nov. 29 at The Factory in St. Louis. It is billed to feature Luther Dickinson, Cody Dickinson, Robert Randolph, Jimmy Hall, Sierra Green, Alex Orbison, and The Allman Betts Band.

The concert series aims to co-opt the spirit of The Last Waltz, with a Rolodex of contributors representing an extensive roster of talent that will come and go on stage during every live performance. Following night one, Allman Betts Family Revival will arrive at its second touring location, The Arcada Theatre in St. Charles, Ill., on November 30. The group will participate in select East Coast stops next, including Dec. 2 at  The Palace Theatre in Greensburg, Pa., Dec. 3 at the Kleinhans Music Hall in Buffalo, N.Y., and an evening at Toyota Presents Oakdale Theater in Wallingford, Conn., on Dec. 4. 

The trio of aforementioned regional appearances comes before the group’s highly anticipated return to The Beacon Theater in New York on Dec. 6. In continuation of their run, the band will play on the Paramount stage in Huntington, N.Y., before dipping down South for an ensuing block of live dates in Virginia, Tennessee, South Carolina and Georgia, before their three-night sweet through Texas. On the other side of their Lone Star State concerts, Allman Betts Family Revival will participate in a one-off at the Fox Tucson Theater in Tucson, Ariz. 

The final tour stops will bring Dweezil Zappa, Sierra Hull, Luther Dickinson, Cody Dickinson, Randolph, Hall, Green, Orbison, and The Allman Betts Band to The Golden State for final appearances on December 20 at The Orpheum in Los Angeles and the last night on the road, December 21, at San Francisco’s The Fillmore.
