Today, Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds have officially announced the return of their classic Riviera Maya concert series, set to bring the artists, friends and fans to Cancún, Quinatana Roo, Mexico from January 23-26 of 2025. The seasoned duo will, as always, be accommodated by the luxurious Moon Palace Resort, which offers an all-inclusive concert getaway from the winter’s chill to the scenic tropics. For its eighth annual iteration, Matthews and Reynolds have assembled a dream team of special guests, with Lord Huron leading the pack of peers joining the fun.
Lord Huron will offer an opening set on Thursday, Jan. 23, to welcome fans to the resort, as will ace bassist and jam scene favorite Karina Rykman. On Friday and Saturday, fans will catch first sets from Tim & Dave, who will welcome a supporting set from Hermanos Gutiérrez on Friday and Sierra Hull on Saturday. On Sunday, Matthews and Reynolds will stage their final show of the run with a special evening performance. All concerts in the musical escape will be staged on the beachfront, pairing top-tier tunes with unbelievable views.
“Reaching the eighth year of Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds Riviera Maya is a testament to the amazing community of fans and artists who join us each year,” offers Jonathan Fordin, Partner at Playa Luna Presents, in an announcement release. “We’re honored to continue creating this unique vacation experience with Dave and Tim in the beautiful setting of Mexico.”
