Blues Traveler and Big Head Todd & The Monsters have announced a 2024 co-headline tour, set to run the essential blues-rock revivalists across the country this August. Reviving a 2023 run of the same name, the Blue Monsters Tour plots 16 engagements for the longtime collaborators in the South, Southwest, Midwest, Mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions.

The Blue Monsters Tour will commence after Big Head Todd & The Monsters’ home state showings at Morrison, Colo.’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre and Winter Park, Colo.’s Blues From The Top Festival, just as Blues Traveler rounds out its Bout Of The Summer Tour with Umphrey’s McGee. The bands will perform together first at El Dorado, Ark.’s MAD Amphitheatre on July 30, then follow with two Texas shows and an Oklahoma City set on Aug. 1-3 before heading to the Midwest. This second leg will commence with an Aug. 6 staging at Wave Outdoor in Wichita, Kan., then run through four further stops in the region before culminating at a yet undisclosed venue in Grand Rapids, Mich. on August 14.

On August 16, Blues Traveler and Big Head Todd & The Monsters will head east to Lewiston, N.Y.’s beloved summer jam haven Artpark; after the encore, the combo will move out to Perinton Center Park Amphitheater in Fairport, N.Y. for an Aug. 17 follow-up. Next, the bands will head to the Northeast for a set at South Shore Music Circus in Cohasset, Mass. on August 20, followed by an Aug. 22 show at Powder Ridge in Middlefield, Conn. The tour then moves to Vienna, Va. for a penultimate staging at Wolf Trap on Aug. 23 before culminating in an Aug. 24 finale at Quakertown, Pa.’s Univest Performance Center.
