Umphrey’s McGee have announced a summer tour, drawing the band’s packed 2024 live schedule out into late July. This latest dispatch adds 11 new dates to the band’s calendar, beginning with a June 13 appearance in Salt Lake City and continuing through a July 19 engagement in Napa, Calif. Tacking onto the band’s spring tour and plotting around its previously announced festival appearances, this series brings Umphrey’s McGee to an impressive total of 61 concerts this year.
Umphrey’s latest run will spill out from its headline booking at the inaugural Solshine: A Music & Arts Reverie in Chilicothe, Ill., where the band will present two days of music between May 24 and 26. From there, the group will hike to the Mountain West for a June 13 performance with Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country in Salt Lake City, followed by shows at Vail, Colo.’s Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater on June 14 and Morrison, Colo.’s esteemed Red Rocks on June 15, the latter featuring support from Cory Wong and Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country.
On June 20, the genre-defiant jam outfit will return to the Midwest for four shows, culminating in a headline set at Rothbury, Mich.’s Electric Forest on June 23. Next, the band will move to the Northeast for a new four-show run, including a July 6 stop at Portland, Maine’s State Theatre. Finally, Umphrey’s will head to the West Coast, where the band will hold its three-night Bout Of The Summer Tour with Blues Traveler, staging the jam giants at Bend, Ore’s Hayden Homes Amphitheatre on July 16, Redding, Calif.’s Redding Civic Auditorium Lawn on July 18 and Napa, Calif.’s Blue Note Napa Summer Sessions on July 19.
