On August 9 through 11, Guster will host its annual On The Ocean Weekend in Portland, Maine. The alt-rock stalwarts have outlined the impending timeline for the sixth edition of their yearly coming together on the Atlantic, which is slated to include musical guests Grace Potter, Kevin Morby, Toad The Wet Sprocket, Trousdale, The Dip, Sunny War, The Wolff Sisters and more.

Apart from guest additions, the event hosts will deliver three sets over the festival weekend, beginning on Friday, August 9, at The State Theatre. The kick-off is slated to be a costume affair, with promised covers and karaoke to come. Then, on Saturday, On The Ocean Weekend moves to Thompson’s Point for the remaining two days of entertainment.

At its new location, Guster will perform, as will friends like Morby, Toad The Wet Sprocket, Trousdale, and others. Sunday, August 11, serves as the event’s final day, boasting a special celebration of the host’s third studio album, Lost and Gone Forever, in honor of its 25th anniversary–and performed in full. Sunday will also feature music from Potter, The Dip, Sunny War, and The Wolff Sisters.

According to Guster’s official press release, during the On The Ocean Weekend, fans can anticipate musical pulls from their new studio LP, Ooh La La, due out on Friday, May 17, via Ocho Mule Records. Moreover, the event is a family-friendly affair, with the return of The Kids Zone, food options, added entertainment and more.

On The Ocean Weekend tickets go on sale Friday, April 5 at noon. A limited number of full festival Early Bird Tickets and more information are available at www.ontheoceanfest.com.
