Railroad Earth have shared an update regarding their May tour dates. The band shared that frontman Todd Sheaffer will step away from the road while he attends to a health issue. As a result, the jamgrass ensemble has shifted their presentation to Railroad Revue and added folk favorite Lindsay Lou to a trio of impending spring appearances.

In an official post from the band, and shared to social media, they wrote, “It goes without saying there is no Railroad Earth without Todd Sheaffer, but with his encouragement, we’re teaming up with the incredible @lindsayloumusic to play May 17-19 as Railroad Revue.”

The band continued their statement, adding, “Thanks to Lindsay for stepping in to help us make these special shows happen, and we’re grateful for everyone’s support and understanding as Todd is on the mend.”

According to the grouping of musicians, they will welcome Lou during festival stands beginning on  May 17 during an appearance at the Greenbelt Music Festival in Clive, Iowa. Next, the seasoned musicians will take their talents to the Tico Time Bluegrass Festival in Aztec, N.M., before closing out their joint stint on May 19 at the Golden Road Festival in Placerville, Calif.
