On Thursday, November 16, Justin Kreutzmann and Jonathan Shank appear as guests on WHO KNEW The Smartest People in the Room with Tom Truitt. The conversational series, which focuses on topics related to the music industry, will present its next episode with the aforementioned additions on Thursday, November 16, at 2 pm ET/11 am PT via Zoom. 

Outlining the impending event, Truitt wrote via Instagram: “Anyone who follows this series understands my passion for featuring really smart people who do cool things. And anyone who knows me well, knows how important all things Grateful Dead are to me and my career. Well this episode delivers on both fronts.” 

The host continued by sharing information about the forthcoming guests, “Jonathan Shank is CEO of Terrapin Entertainment, a very successful, multi-dimensional company that includes artist management, concert and tour production and sports. Using many lessons learned by observing the business practices of the Grateful Dead, Jonathan has mastered the rare feat of blending your passions with your work. In doing so, he proves you can simultaneously be the smartest and happiest person in the room!”

He continued, “Justin Kreutzmann is an award winning producer, filmmaker and documentarian. For the past 50 or so years, he has been uniquely positioned in and around many legendary musicians including Grateful Dead, U2, Motley Crue just to name a few. His current project is directing the definitive feature documentary on the life of Jerry Garcia. Just imagine all the amazing things he’s witnessed- a long strange trip it’s been for sure.” 

WHO KNEW The Smartest People in the Room will occur on Thursday, November 16, 2023, at 2 pm ET/11 am PT. The event is free, with registration via Zoom.
