Talking Heads will launch Talking Heads Radio, an exclusive SiriusXM pop-up channel dedicated to the band’s rich catalog. The channel will be available to subscribers in their cars on Channel 145 from October 1 through October 22, as well as on the SiriusXM app from October 1 through October 31.

Talking Heads Radio will feature music and exclusive stories from core band members David Byrne, Chris Frantz, Jerry Harrison and Tina Weymouth. U2’s Adam Clayton, Foo Fighters’ Nate Mendel, The Linda Lindas, TV on the Radio’s Tunde Adebimpe and Phish’s Trey Anastasio are among the celebrity acts who will serve as guest DJs on the channel.

In celebration of the new channel, all four members of Talking Heads will make a rare appearance together, sitting down in front of a live audience at SiriusXM’s New York studios for an exclusive Front Row Q&A event hosted by Este Haim, bass guitarist and vocalist from the band Haim, on Monday, September 28 at 7 pm ET. The full conversation will air at noon on Talking Heads Radio on launch day, Thursday, October 1, and will be available anytime on the SiriusXM app. SiriusXM subscribers can enter for a chance to win a pair of tickets to experience this special interview up close. Eligible subscribers have until September 22 to enter.

Talking Heads have not performed together since their 2002 induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Beginning in 2023, they regrouped for a few conversations tied to rerelease of their seminal 1984 film Stop Making Sense.
