Will Ferrell has tapped several musicians, comics, and members of the Hollywood elite to take part in the second installment of Best Night of Your Life, a benefit for Cancer for College, slated to occur on Saturday, October 21, at The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles. 

Pearl Jam’s Mike McCready has put together an all-star musical lineup consisting of Stefan Lessard (Dave Matthews Band), Beck, St. Vincent, Cindy Blackman Santana, Dogstar featuring Bret Domrose, Robert Mailhouse & Keanu Reeves, along with Jack Black and Fred Armisen who will perform as the one-time supergroup Mike McCready and The Casual Acquaintances.

“I can’t wait to rock out at Will Ferrell’s Best Night of Your Life 2!” said McCready. “The first one in 2018 was an incredible experience. I’m stoked and honored to be putting together an amazing All-Star band for this event! You don’t want to miss it!”

The fall gathering is not the first time Ferrell has joined forces with McCready. The pair came together in the past for other iterations of the Cancer for College benefit, including taking part in ‘Chad Smith’s Super Mega Funktastic Jam Rock All Stars’ in 2018 alongside Chris Martin, Duff McKagan, Lessard, Josh Klinghoffer, and Brad Paisley, and ‘I Pissed My Pants’ with Smith and Brandi Carlile in 2014. 

The star-studded 2023 event will also boast gags from comedians such as Jon Stewart, Hasan Minhaj, Jo Koy, Patti Harrison, Roy Wood Jr., and Rory Scovel, plus a special appearance by SmartLess with Jason Bateman, Sean Hayes, and Will Arnett. Moreover, DJ White Shadow and Princess featuring Maya Rudolph are also included on the impending benefit bill. 

“Immediately upon completing our last show in 2018, I set out on a search of the cosmos,” offered Ferrell. “The mission was to find the most incredible lineup of talent this world has ever seen. I think we can comfortably say mission accomplished.”
