Today, Keith Lockhart and the Boston Pops Orchestra have announced their 2023 Spring Pops season, which will occur from May 12 through June 10 at Boston’s Symphony Hall. This year’s concert series will see a range of musical guests, including Guster, who have signed on for two dates.

The Boston-bred alternative rock group will perform alongside Maestro Lockhart and the Boston Pops Orchestra beginning on June 6, when they will share the stage with the high school-age winners of the Fidelity Investments Young Artist Competition.

The Fidelity Investments Young Artist Competition winners will also receive the unique opportunity to receive mentorship from Lockhart, Guster, and others, culminating in their first performance at the legendary Symphony Hall in Boston this June.

Then, the “Satellite” singers will follow up the following evening, June 7, with another highly anticipated performance that marks their final stand with their musical hosts, Lockhart and the Boston Pops Orchestra. In addition to their June 6 gig, Guster and their host will deliver an assemblage of their greatest hits.

In addition to two nights of Guster, the 2023 Spring Pops season will also boast a concert version of the Broadway musical Ragtime and a screening of the 1983 classic film Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, featuring musical accompaniment by the Pops and Lockhart. The upcoming series also boasts an appearance by world-traveler Rick Steves and other exciting attractions.

Tickets for the Boston Pops season at Symphony Hall are available at bostonpops.org, beginning on March 28 at 10 a.m. local time.
