Yesterday, Andrew Bird appeared on CBS Mornings’ “Saturday Sessions” to celebrate the arrival of his latest studio album, Inside Problems, which dropped on June 3 via Loma Vista Recordings. The artist took the stage alongside his band to deliver three memorable songs, including “Make A Picture,” “Never Fall Apart” and “Atomized.”

The weekend broadcast aired run-throughs of all three tunes off the artist’s first solo acoustic album since 2019’s Grammy-nominated album My Finest Work Yet. During the performance, Bird lent his unparalleled talent on violin and led vocals to “Make a Picture,” which marked a high point as the artist crooned the catchy lyrics: “Make a picture/ Make it snappy/ Make a picture/ Don’t look so happy.”

Then, with the help of his backing band, Bird took on a more serious tone during “Never Fall Apart,” which also gave the artist a moment to pick up the guitar and strum along to the tune’s epic instrumentals. Finally, for the last number of the memorable “Saturday Session” stand, Bird picked his violin on “Atomized,” which also included an idealized whistling segment and illustrious bow stringed solo.
