Eric Clapton’s 2023 Crossroads Guitar Festival lives on. Well, in digital form. The landmark performances that occurred during the aforementioned event on September 23 and 24, 2023, at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles have been chronicled into a new live album and concert film, titled Eric Clapton’s Crossroads Guitar Festival 2023 and due out on  November 29, 2024,  including 4CD/2Blu-Ray, 6LP Vinyl, 2DVD, and Digital (streaming & Dolby ATMOS mix).

The seventh installment of the landmark musical occasion arrived after a four-year break, bringing with it a build of excitement and pent-up anticipation. For the shows, Clapton enlisted help from monster talents on the axe, including Joe Bonamassa, Clapton, Gary Clark Jr., Sheryl Crow, Eric Gales, H.E.R., Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, Los Lobos, John Mayer, The Marcus King Band, Roger McGuinn, John McLaughlin, Santana, The Wallflowers, master of ceremonies Bill Murray, and added musical talent. 

Both nights of music sizzled with a rotating list of blues staples, pulls from rock’s greatest hits, and generational anthems that pushed folks from their seats and promoted movement on their feet, slicked in the concert’s soulful output. The event continues an elongated history tied to the event’s initial 1999 NYC occurrence, 2004 in Dallas, and an ensuing locational ricochet that eventually led Clapton and company to The City of Angels last fall.
