Bright Eyes have announced the second wave of releases as part of their ongoing Companions project, which began in March and sees the ensemble resharing their complete music catalog. The band unveiled that each album comes with new recordings. Moreover, the material will be dropped on Nov. 11 via Dead Oceans and includes Lifted or the Story is in the Soil, Keep Your Ear to the Ground: A Companion, I’m Wide Awake, It’s Morning: A Companion and Digital Ash in a Digital Urn: A Companion.

In addition to the rerelease of the beloved collection of albums from Bright Eyes’ expansive repertoire, the indie rockers also shared three new Companion series recordings: “You Will. You? Will. You Will. You? Will.,” from 2002’s Lifted or the Story is in the Soil, Keep Your Ear to the Ground, “Old Soul Song (for the New World Order)” which originally appeared on 2005’s I’m Wide Awake, It’s Morning and lastly, “Gold Mine Gutted” off 2005’s Digital Ash in a Digital Urn. 

Additionally, the band shared that the EPs feature performances by guests Gillian Welch, Dave Rawlings, Becky Stark and Maria Taylor. And included in the rereleases are covers of “November” by Azure Ray, “Fare Thee Well, Miss Carousel” by Townes Van Zandt and “Agenda Suicide” by The Faint.
