Peter Rowan has shared the title track off his forthcoming LP, Calling You From My Mountain, which will be released on June 24 via Rebel Records. The stunning new single features Americana mainstays Molly Tuttle and Lindsay Lou, who lend their sweet vocals to the harmony-heavy tune.

Rowan’s latest release was inspired by his longstanding interest in Tibetian music and culture, which stems from his friendship with highly regarded Tibetian singer-songwriter and world music exemplary Yungchen Lhamo.

“From My Mountain (Calling You)” carries the precedence of a delicate folksy bluegrass ditty, with the iconic lead vocals of Rowan guiding his constituents through the simple yet alluring lyrics. Tuttle’s impassioned vocals coupled with Lou’s harmonization create heavenly perfection on Rowan’s latest single.

In addition to Tuttle and Lou, the forthcoming album also features assistance from Billy Strings, Shawn Camp and Mark Howard. They aid the Grammy-award-winning artist in delivering his latest patch of music, inspired by Hank Williams’ Luke the Drifter personality and the idea of writing songs for that character.
