Bobby Weir & Wolf Bros have announced a forthcoming benefit concert slated for Sept. 10 in Sister, Ore., at the scenic Hoodoo Ski Area. The one-off show will aid Oregon Adaptive Sports, which gives folks with disabilities the opportunity to get outdoors and engage in adaptive physical activities.

Doors for the mid-day concert will open at 2 p.m.; attendees can expect an opening set performed by Central Oregon mainstays, Gbots & the Journeyman, who will lay down some upbeat grooves ahead of the main feature.

Oregon Adaptive Sports maintain a mission that “provides life-changing outdoor recreation experiences to individuals with disabilities. Participants gain confidence, build self-esteem and strive for independence leading to an enhanced quality of life.”

The show will come after an action-packed summer for Weir, who will join Dead & Company on tour beginning this Saturday at Dodgers Stadium in Los Angeles, Calif. From there, the ensemble will make 19 coast-to-coast stops before wrapping their tour on July 16 at New York’s Citi Field.
