Railroad Earth have marked their 25th anniversary throughout the year and, this November, the New Jersey-bred group will bring their celebration to a close at their annual Horn O’ Plenty event. Slated to once again take place at Stroudsburg, PA’s Sherman Theater, this time on November 27 and 28, the Thanksgiving Weekend gathering has been described as “the final chapter of Railroad Earth’s 25th anniversary celebration.”
As previously reported, Railroad Earth recently announced plans to spend much of November circling the Pacific Northwest. That run of shows will kick off at the McDonald Theatre in Eugene, OR, on November 4 and come to a close at The Wilma in Missoula, MT, on November 14. Along the way, they will also perform at the Midtown Ballroom in Bend, OR (11/5), the Revolution Hall in Portland, OR (11/16), The Crocodile in Seattle, WA (11/7), The Commonwealth Room in Salt Lake City, UT (11/11), the Treefort Music Hall in Boise, ID (11/12) and The ELM in Bozeman, MT (11/13).
Up next, Railroad Earth will appear at Manchester, VT’s Green Mountain Bluegrass & Roots Festival this Friday. They also recently issued a new single, “Whiskey Train,” featuring Ronnie McCoury.
