Connecticut jam-rock unit Goose have shared a new music video and studio recording for their new single “Arrow.” The track has been a live setlist staple for the band since it debuted in Dec. 2019. The song serves as another LP preview for Goose, who is scheduled to deliver Dripfield on June 24 via No Coincidence Records.

“Arrow” was written by singer and guitarist Rick Mitarotonda, who has perfectly captured Goose’s sound by combining their well-greased musical ability and coupling it with fun surfy undertones that evoke a musical experience intended for the warm summer months.

Ben Atkin’s pulsating drums are layered with the rich saxophone bravado courtesy of Stuart Boogie, making “Arrow” a standout track on the forthcoming album. The latest release follows LP previews, “Hungersite,” “Borne” and the title track, “Dripfield,” all of which can be streamed now.

“‘Arrow’ has always been a puzzle for us,” shared multi-instrumentalist Peter Anspach. “It took us months of messing with the arrangement to finally dial it in. And then in classic ‘Arrow’ form, once we hit the studio, it changed it again. The resulting version was created the day we recorded it and was one of [the] most exciting days for us all. During the opening hits, we all took pots and pans from the kitchen and just dropped them on the ground of the studio to create a wilder, more outrageous impact.”

Goose will hit the road this summer for a cross country jaunt and festival circuit tour in support of their forthcoming album. The band’s next live performance is scheduled for May 27 at Westville Music Bowl in New Haven, Conn.; they’ll play two consecutive evenings at the venue before their last stand of the month on May 29 at Boston Calling. From there, tour dates will see the band through till October.

Additionally, Goose are scheduled to perform at New York City’s Radio City Music Hall on June 24 and 25. The Radio City Music Hall shows mark the band’s debut performance at the iconic venue and will feature three sets each evening; the first set of each night will be a special acoustic performance. Tickets for June 25 are completely sold-out and the second show was added to due popular demand. Find tickets for the Radio City Music Hall shows here.
