Ben Harper & the Innocent Criminals have announced four additional shows ahead of their upcoming tour across the U.S. and Europe. The tour marks Harper and the band’s first since the start of the COVID-19 Pandemic.

The newly announced shows will take place towards the tail end of the tour on Sept. 18, 20, 21 and 22 in Saratoga, Calif., Eugene, Ore., Bend, Ore. and Troutdale, Ore. respectively. Ben Harper & the Innocent Criminals’ tour will kick off on April 2 at the Rendezvous Spring Festival in Jackson Wyoming followed by 21 dates throughout Europe in July and August. They’re set to continue to play through Oct. 7 when the tour will close at the North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre in Chula Vista.

The touring band will feature long-time members percussionist Leon Mobley and Drummer Oliver Charles and new members keyboardist Chris Joyner, guitarist Alex Painter and Leslie King on bass. The tour will also welcome special guests Jack Johnson, Ziggy and Stephen Marley on select dates.

“The band is ecstatic to be back on tour,” said Harper in a press release. “The new members of the group bring a fire that is pushing the sound forward in a whole new way.”

The tour will see Harper performing 28 years of music from over 16 studio records and three live releases. 2020 also saw him release his first-ever instrumental record Winter Is For Lovers and launch his record label Mad Bunny Records.
