Gov’t Mule announced the return of their annual New Year’s run of shows. The three-night affair will kick off on Wednesday, Dec. 29 at the Met in Philadelphia before the renowned quartet return to the warm confines of The Beacon Theatre in New York City, with back-to-back shows on Dec. 30 and Dec. 31 to close out the run and ring in the New Year with a special “Black ‘n’ Blue New Year’s Show.”

Gov’t Mule recently announced the release date of their upcoming album Heavy Load Blues, which is due to drop on Nov. 12. The album marks the band’s first-ever blues offering. They will perform the album in its entirety for the first time on Oct. 29 at The Tabernacle in Atlanta for the first of their two Halloween weekend shows.
