Foo Fighters have been tapped to reopen the World’s Most Famous Arena, offering Madison Square Garden’s first concert since the beginning of the pandemic.

Dave Grohl and company will take the historic NYC stage on June 20, and the event will find MSG at full-capacity.

“We’ve been waiting for this day for over a year,” Grohl said via press release. “And Madison Square Garden is going to feel that HARD. New York, get ready for a long ass night of screaming our heads off together to 26 years of Foos.”

As for COVID-19 protocol, the venue notes that “Guests will need to be fully vaccinated for upcoming events at The Garden, meaning the day of your event must be at least 14 days after your second dose of the Pfizer-BioNtech or Moderna COVID-19 vaccine or at least 14 days after your single dose of the Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen COVID-19 vaccine. The only exception is for children under the age of 16, who may provide proof of a negative antigen COVID-19 test, negative PCR COVID-19 test or full vaccination.”

Following a June 8 pre-sale, fans can purchase tickets for Foo Fighter at the Garden starting June 11 at 10 a.m. local time.
