Grateful Dead HQ has added yet another archival clip to their ‘All The Years Live’ series, spotlighting a 9/30/89 “Row Jimmy.”

“Famously referred to by Jerry Garcia as one of his favorite songs to play live with the Grateful Dead, ‘Row Jimmy’ was a steady part of the repertoire from 1973 to 1995, played 276 times by the Dead,” explains GD legacy manager/archivist David Lemieux. “Almost exclusively a first set song, this beautiful version comes from the day after the Dead brought back ‘Death Don’t Have No Mercy.'”

Previously, Lemieux and company unearthed the “Iko Iko” from the very same Shoreline show.
