Gov’t Mule have released a new live record, Live At The Beacon Theatre. The album was recorded on New Year’s Eve 2017 (Dec. 31, 2017).

The show features special guest Jackie Greene, who sat in for the entire second set and encore. Jimmy Vivino also came out as a guest during the extended encore. The show came as part of the band’s New York City residency.

The show featured covers of such songs as “For What It’s Worth” (Buffalo Springfield), “A Change Is Gonna Come” (Sam Cooke), “Changes” (David Bowie) and more. The encore featured covers of The Allman Brothers Band’s “Melissa” and “Mountain Jam,” followed by Neil Young’s “Rockin’ in the Free World” and Band of Gypsys’ “Machine Gun.”
