The pandemic isn’t stopping bluegrass legend Del McCoury from putting pen to paper and writing new music.

“Well folks, I wanted to show you a tune that I’m kind of working on for my next record and see what you think about it,” the 80-year-old musician tells viewers of the unfinished composition, dubbed “Just Because.”

Over the weekend, McCoury shared a similar video, covering Flatt & Scruggs’ “I’ll Just Pretend.”
