The Disco Biscuits have announced that they are postponing their upcoming runs at The Fillmore in Philadelphia (set to start tonight, Mar. 12) and at the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, N.Y. (scheduled for Mar. 26-28).

“Here we are. Sitting backstage at The Fillmore in Philadelphia, doing the last thing we want to do, but doing what we know to be right,” the band’s statement began. “We’re going to postpone the three shows in Philly this weekend and our upcoming run at The Cap.”

“As soon as we know when we can move the shows to, we’ll let all of you know, the statement continued. “We truly believe this is the right thing to do in this scary and confusing time. If anything good comes of it, it will be the fact that we’re going to head into the studio to work on some of the best songs we’ve ever written. See you all on the flipside.”
