Like many other bands and festivals through the live music scene, Galactic are hunkering down and postponing tour dates in wake of the coronavirus’ appearance throughout the U.S.

The NOLA funk torchbearers are postponing a number of shows on their 25th anniversary tour, including shows in Montana, Colorado, Idaho, Washington, Oregona, Nevada and California, up to March 25.

“Galactic Fans – there is nothing we wanted more than to celebrate our 25th Anniversary with you,” the band wrote the morning of March 12.

However the band was sure to tell fans that the shows are postponed and not canceled, adding, “stay tuned for new tour dates TBA asap! We promise the rescheduled shows will be just as funky, or even funkier.”
