On Jan. 20, Citizen Cope performed a show at The Basement East in Nashville, Tenn.

The singer/songwriter rarely has guests join him, but for this show, he invited Marcus King to the stage for a performance of “Son’s Gonna Rise.”

King was recently announced as a member of the “Daze Between Band,” which includes Eric Krasno, Ivan Neville, Duane Trucks and more. The band will play a show during Jazz Fest. He also recently dropped his debut solo record, El Dorado, produced by Black Keys’ guitarist Dan Auerbach. The duo recently released an acoustic duo performance of “Beautiful Stranger” from the record.
