“We’re gonna do something very strange here, but that’s cool. That’s fun,” Trey Anastasio told the sold-out crowd at Madison Square Garden on New Year’s Eve, admitting that his elevated platform was stuck in mid-air. “We just walked off, we’re back on. This is the encore. And then all four of us are going to watch you guys leave, and then we’re just going to stay here up in the air until next year! It’s the encore!”

From there, Phish launched into a rocking “Tweezer Reprise,” amplified by the voices and dance moves of the band’s clones, which were key members of their always-entertaining New Year’s gag.

The new pro-shot clip also includes Anastasio’s improvised “Rescue Squad” ditty (around the 5:11 mark), which is now considered by setlist statisticians as a Phish debut.
