Trey Anastasio continued his solo acoustic fall tour on Friday night at Milwaukee’s Riverside Theater, and the Phish frontman also kept up his string of solo debuts along with plenty of live staples and Ghosts of the Forest tunes.
The evening opened with “Prince Caspian” and featured the solo acoustic debut of Ghosts of the Forest track “In Long Lines” a bit later. Anastasio also performed “Runaway Jim” early in the set, a song he had previously played solo acoustic, but during a Trey Anastasio Band show. Last night’s set proper also included the Kasvot Växt cut “Turtle in the Clouds,” GOTF’s “Ghosts of the Forest” and live favorites like “Blaze On,” “Cavern” and the closer, “Wilson.”
For Friday’s encore, Anastasio opened with “Till We Meet Again” before offering his solo debut of Windora Bug” as well as the early Phish tune “Sanity” and moving into “Lawn Boy,” then closing with the playful Kasvot Växt number “Say It to Me S.A.N.T.O.S.”
Check out the full setlist below, along with a couple of fan-shot videos from the night. Anastasio continues this solo acoustic tour this evening at the State Theatre in Minneapolis, MN.
