After announcing the departure of longtime keyboardist Adam MacDougall last week, Chris Robinson Brotherhood have tapped not only one but two keyboardists to fill MacDougall’s spot for their US and Europe dates respectively.

Hot Tuna/Jefferson Starship/Green Leaf Rustlers collaborator Pete Sears will sit behind the keys for the CRB through their May US tour dates, whereas Once & Future Band keyboardist Joel Robinow will take over for their June/July gigs, including a tour across Europe.

As the band noted in their original statement about MacDougall’s departure, after their scheduled July tour dates they will take off the year off from touring. Unfortunately that effected their scheduled gig at the LOCKN’ music festival, which led to Midnight North filling their slot on the August 22-25 fest’s schedule.

Chris Robinson Brotherhood’s new album Servants of the Sun will be released as planned on June 14. Click here to pre-order.
