Following Chris Robinson Brotherhood’s announcement earlier this week that they will be taking a break from performing after July of this year, Virginia’s LOCKN’ Festival has announced that Midnight North will be taking the CRB’s slot at this year’s gathering in August.
Midnight North, a staple of the San Francisco Bay Area music scene that features members of frequent Phil Lesh collaborators The Terrapin Family Band, including guitarist Grahame Lesh, will play LOCKN’ 2019 the afternoon of Thursday, Aug. 22.
Along with announcing their second-half-of-2019 hiatus, Chris Robinson Brotherhood also announced that they have parted ways with keyboardist Adam MacDougall, who has been with the group since their founding in 2011.

May 9, 2019 at 1:27 pmMidnight North is a band I don’t think i would go see if they were 2 miles from my front door. I’m all for different levels and types of music but this is a tremendous letdown.

May 9, 2019 at 1:30 pmGreat is not accurate. We are just disappointed. Its expensive to go to these festivals. This isn’t a good fill-in. At least its just Thursday.

May 4, 2019 at 11:46 pmI love music, open minded to all genres, except speed death metal, appreciate the efforts and sacrifices by all musicians.
I’m sorry, Midnight North isn’t worthy.
I wanna use: sucks, blows and horrible, but that would be unfair. Unworthy seems to fit best, in my humble opinion.
Thank you.
