After announcing a show at New York’s Madison Square Garden earlier this week, Vampire Weekend have confirmed the first leg of their extensive 2019 touring schedule, which will take the band across North America throughout the summer and early fall in support of their upcoming album, Father of the Bride.
After their previously scheduled appearance at Alabama’s Hangout Music Festival in mid-May, VW open their summer dates on June 5 in Toronto. The band will also hit venues in Indianapolis, Milwaukee, St. Louis, Chicago, Nashville, Oklahoma City, Austin (two shows at ACL Live), Miami, Atlanta, Boston, Philadelphia, Montreal, Vancouver, Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles and many more, closing with a show at Colorado’s famed Red Rocks Amphitheatre on October 8.
Tickets for the new shows go on sale February 8 at noon local time, with each purchase including a physical copy of the new album. See Vampire Weekend’s full announced schedule below and at their website. Ticketmaster Verified Fan registration for this tour closes on February 3 at midnight ET.
