This February, Grammy-winning bassist Thundercat will descend upon New York City’s Blue Note Jazz Club for a lengthy, 14-show residency.

In the past, the California-based creator has collaborated with Kamasi Washington, Erykah Badu and more. He also released his own LPs in 2011 (The Golden Age of Apocalypse), 2013 (Apocalypse) and 2017 (Drunk). For Drunk, Thundercat enlisted a wide variety of artists from Kenny Loggins and Michael McDonald to Mac Miller and Pharrell.

In 2015, Rolling Stone also applauded Thundercat for his work on Kendrick Lamar’s landmark, jazz-filled LP To Pimp A Butterfly, dubbing him “the creative epicenter” of the project.

For his upcoming, highly-anticipated Blue Note run, the bassist will take the stage nightly from Feb. 12-17, playing multiple sets per night.

Tickets for the Blue Note are available now.
