The Dreaming The Same Dream Tour continues to route through Florida. These shows feature Gov’t Mule, Ziggy Marley and tweener DJ sets from Yola. Two dollars from each ticket will be donated to Food For The Poor Jamaica to provide relief and humanitarian efforts in the wake of Hurricane Melissa.

All three of this weekend’s performances featured collaborative moments during the Mule set. Saturday at St. Augustine Amphitheatre marked the first occasion on the tour in which Ziggy Marley guested with the quartet. He appeared on a version of his father’s “Lively Up Yourself.” Ziggy’s background vocalists, Tracey Hazzard and Natasha Pearce, also contributed to the Bob Marley classic, which Gov’t Mule had previously performed as an instrumental but never with singers. Later that evening, Trey Geddings added guitar to Tower of Power’s “What is Hip?”

Throughout the tour, Yola has been joining Gov’t Mule on select covers. At Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, FL on Friday, she appeared on Ann Peebles’ “I Can’t Stand The Rain,” which was a Mule debut. On Saturday in St. Augustine it was a powerful take on Led Zeppelin’s “Black Dog.” Finally, last night at BayCare Sound in Clearwater, FL, it was another go-round with “I Can’t Stand The Rain.”

The weekend’s Gov’t Mule setlists appear beneath a few videos of the action.
