On Saturday night, legendary singer-songwriter David Crosby led his Lighthouse Band in a tour-closing performance at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY, in support of Crosby’s most recent album, this year’s Here If You Listen.
Crosby and his band—also featuring Snarky Puppy’s Michael League, plus vocalists/multi-instrumentalists Becca Stevens and Michelle Willis—ran through many of the tracks off the new album, with a few of the members sharing lead vocal duties, including a reworked version of Joni Mitchell’s “Woodstock,” which was a hit for Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young and kicked off Saturday’s encore. The night also featured Stevens’ own tune “Regina” and more throwbacks from Crosby’s various incarnations with Steven Stills, Graham Nash and Neil Young, including “Guinnevere,” “Carry Me,” “Déjà Vu” and the encore closer, “Ohio.”

December 12, 2018 at 3:46 pmNot a Crosby (or CSN fan) but I am happy for him. I remember how messed up he was in the 80’s. I saw him (with Graham Nash) join Neil Young at MSG soon after his release from prison. Glad he is well and still making music all these years later.
