The String Cheese Incident are set to play a three-night New Year’s run in their home state of Colorado, and they’ve “enlisted a few familiar faces” to jam along with them.

The band’s first night at Broomfield’s First Bank Center (Dec. 28) will feature guest spots by mandolinist Sam Bush and violinist Darol Anger.

The following evening SCI will be joined by Ivan Neville, Ian Neville and Tony Hall of Dumpstaphunk as well as noted sacred steel guitarist Robert Randolph.

In their announcement, the band specifically notes that these featured performers will not be opening acts, but rather guest musicians who will join SCI onstage.

Finally, after a day off, SCI will take the stage alone on Dec. 31 for three full sets.
